The Refer a Friend feature rewards both existing and new clients for spreading the word about your business. Set it up in a few clicks, and your members can start sharing a referral link that gives both sides a little something extra — in the form of credits.

Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- Make sure you have admin access to Account Settings
- Decide how many credits each side will receive (referrer and new client)
- Understand that referrals must be brand-new clients — no existing profiles
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Enable referrals in account settings
- Go to Account Settings > Configuration
- Scroll down to the Referrals section
- Click the plus icon (+) to add a referral rule
Step 2: Set referral rewards
- Decide how many credits to give:
- Existing client (referrer)
- New client (person signing up)
- Enter the credit amounts and save the configuration
Tip: Credits can be used toward any product or service you sell — including memberships, packs, or retail items.
Step 3: Share the referral link
- The existing client receives a unique referral link
- The new client must use this link to create their profile — they must not already exist in the system
If the client already has a profile, they won’t be eligible for referral credits.
Step 4: Credits are automatically applied
- Once the new client signs up through the link, both accounts are credited
- These credits will show in their profile and are available to redeem immediately
Expected outcome
Both the referring and referred clients will receive credits automatically, making the experience simple, rewarding, and hands-free once set up.

Q: What can clients use their referral credits for?
A: Credits can be used toward any product or service in your system — including memberships, class packs, or even retail.
Q: What if a client already has a profile?
A: They won’t qualify for referral credits. The system only recognises new clients created via the referral link.
Q: Can I change the number of referral credits later?
A: Yes — just go back into Configurations > Referrals and update the amounts.
