How to Set Up and View Session Feedback

Overview

Session feedback helps you collect insights directly from clients after a class. You can ask for star ratings, written feedback, or both — and track it all in reports. This is a great way to improve your classes, support your trainers, and understand what your clients love (or don’t).

Prerequisites

Before you begin:

  • Make sure you have access to Edit Profile, Schedule Templates, and Reports
  • Decide what kind of feedback you want (star ratings, open text, or both)
  • Have at least one class template ready to apply feedback to

Step-by-step instructions


Step 1: Create feedback fields

  1. Click your Studio Name at the top and select Edit Profile
  2. Click Session Feedback on the left
  3. Click Add Field
  4. Choose your field type:
    • Star Rating (1–5 stars) – e.g. “How did you find that class?”
    • Multi-line Text – for open-ended responses
  5. Click Save

✅ Tip: You can add multiple questions — like “Rate the trainer” or “What could be improved?”


Step 2: Enable feedback on specific classes

  1. Go to Schedule
  2. Click the cog icon > Schedule Templates
  3. Choose a template and click the pencil icon
  4. Scroll to the bottom and toggle Session Feedback = Yes
  5. Click Save

💡 You can choose to enable feedback on all classes or just select ones.


Step 3: View client responses in reports

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Session Feedback Report
  3. Set your date range and filter by:
    • Session name
    • Instructor
    • Feedback type
  4. Click Edit Report Settings to customize columns — e.g. session time, trainer name, or rating


Step 4: What clients see in the app

After their class ends, clients get a prompt in the app asking them to leave feedback. Depending on your setup, they’ll either:

  • Tap stars to rate the session
  • Fill out an open text box
  • Or both

Once submitted, feedback is logged to the session feedback report and visible to your team.


Expected outcome

After setup:

  • Clients will be asked for feedback after selected sessions
  • You’ll be able to review responses in your Reports > Session Feedback
  • Trainers and managers can use this to improve class quality and client experience

Q: Can I use both star ratings and text input in the same form?

A: Yes! You can mix and match multiple question types.

Q: Will clients be prompted every time?

A: Only for the sessions where feedback is enabled via the template.

Q: Can I export feedback data?

A: Yes — reports can be customized, filtered, and downloaded as needed.
