We've enhanced our KPI Report by introducing a new statistic: Returning Clients with Paid Membership! This metric captures clients who previously had a paid membership or package and have since rejoined the same location.
What’s Changed?
-
A new "Returning Clients with Paid Membership" field is now included in the KPI report.
-
Clients are classified as "Returning Clients with Paid Membership" only if they return to the same location after canceling or ending a previous paid membership or package.
-
Joining a different location is always counted as a "New Client with Paid Membership", even if they were previously a member elsewhere.
Examples
Returning Clients with Paid Membership: Client has a paid membership/package at Location A in 2022 and proceeds to cancel in 2023. They then rejoin on a paid membership at Location A in 2024.
Not a Returning Clients with Paid Membership: Client has a paid membership/package at Location A in 2022 and proceeds to cancel. They then join Location B on a paid membership in 2023—this is counted as a New Joiner at Location B and NOT a Returning Client.
How We Calculate Returning Clients with Paid Membership
-
Only paid memberships are included.
-
Membership must be active (payment status cannot be "failed").
-
Applies only to membership package types (not other purchase types).
This new statistic ensures that the KPI report more accurately tracks returning members, giving better insights into retention and re-engagement!
