View and Export the Stripe Card Updater Report

Overview

Keeping client payment information current is critical for avoiding failed transactions. In Hapana Core, the Stripe Card Updater Report helps you easily track and monitor updates to client credit cards that have been automatically refreshed by Stripe.

This article explains where to find the report, how to use its search functions, and how to export it for further analysis or record-keeping.


Prerequisites

  • Admin or staff access to Hapana Core
  • Stripe must be configured as the payment gateway for your location

Tip: This report only shows updates processed through Stripe's card updater system (not manual card changes).


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to Core

Go to core.hapana.com and sign in using your admin credentials.


Step 2: Navigate to the Reports tab

From the dashboard, click Reports.


Step 3: Open Financial Reports

Click Financial from the left-hand side menu.


Step 4: Select the Stripe Card Updater Report

Locate and click Stripe Card Updater Report.

It’s positioned next to the Stripe Settlement Report.


Step 5: Review Report Columns

The report displays the following columns:

  • Client Record (Name)
  • Client Email Address
  • Last Four Digits of Old Card
  • Last Four Digits of New Card
  • Date Update was Received

Tip: You can quickly spot clients whose billing methods have been updated and prevent failed payments.


Step 6: Filter by Date Range

  • By default, the report shows updates from the past 30 days.
  • Adjust the From > To date fields if you want to change the time range.
  • Apply standard query filters if needed.

Step 7: Export the Report to CSV

Click the Export to CSV button to download the report for offline viewing or financial audits.


Expected Outcome

You will be able to monitor all credit card updates automatically processed by Stripe for your clients, ensuring that billing information remains current and reducing payment disruptions.

Q: Does this report include manual card updates by clients or staff?

No. It only shows automatic card updates processed by Stripe.

Q: How often is the report updated?

The report updates daily and reflects card changes made via Stripe’s Updater program.

Q: Can I see both old and new card numbers?

Only the last four digits are shown for security purposes.
