Similar to Push Notifications in Core, GROW users are now able to send push notifications automatically from GROW to the Branded App, via workflows.
GROW Push Notification | Overview
- Title: The top-most customizable text of the notification (50 character limit)
- Body: The localized text that provides the notification's main content (150 character limit)
- URL Links: You have the ability to include URL links as an attachment to the Push Notification.
How to set up Push Notifications within Automations
If you would like Push Notifications enabled for your GROW site please reach out to [email protected] and our team will enable this feature for you. Once enabled you can follow the below steps to start utilizing Push Notifications.
Navigate to Automation > + Create Workflow
Set your desired workflow 'Trigger' and then press the '+' symbol to add an action. The action bar will populate on the right hand side of the screen. Begin to type 'Push Notification' to search for the Push Notification action.
Select the 'Push Notification' action. You will then be prompted to configure the Push Notification 'Heading, 'Body' and 'URL Link (if desired)'. Once configured, press Save at the bottom of the pop up window.
Once the action is successfully saved, it will appear in your Workflow, as seen below.
To complete the automation > add any further desired automation steps > change the toggle from 'Draft' to 'Publish' > Press Save in the top right corner of the screen.
Your Push Notification automation will now be LIVE!

Is there a cost for Push Notifications, like there is for SMS?
Yes, as Push Notifications are a premium feature within GROW, there is a $0.01 (USD) charge per action.
Is there a way to confirm the deliverability of the Push Notifications?
There is no confirmation of delivery and no 'status' report back to GROW as the deliverability is dependent on whether the client receiving the Push Notification has Push Notifications enabled in their settings.
Can we utilise Emojis in the Push Notification?
Yes, it emojis can be utilized in both the body and heading of the Push Notification. Emojis do not impact the character limit like they do in SMS messages.
