You can now seamlessly sync data between external systems and GROW using Zapier.

So, how does this magic work? Well, first things first, you'll need to create an account with Zapier and install the GROW by Hapana app. Get started by clicking this link to accept your invitation:

Once you've got the app installed it's time to create your Zap. You can use GROW by Hapana as a trigger to send events to other systems or as an action to receive information from elsewhere.

During the Zap creation process, you'll be asked to connect the GROW app to your GROW instance using an API key. You can find your API key under the Business Settings Page in GROW. Simply copy it using the clipboard and paste it where needed in Zapier.

Now, let's talk about triggers and actions. With GROW as a trigger, you can fire off events when pipeline stages change. And as for actions, you can do things like add leads to campaigns, create tasks, update contacts or opportunities, and even stop all campaigns for a lead.

You also have the ability to add or update the below list of fields:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Full Name

  • Phone Number

  • Email

  • Address

  • City

  • State

  • Postal Code

  • Tags

  • Source

  • Mark as Lead

  • Notes

Note: if you have Grow sync enabled with Core, fields in Grow may be overwritten with values from Core, for matching records based on email.

If you are looking for alternate trigger options there is also the ability to utilize webhooks within GROW automations.

Here's how:

  • Set up a custom webhook in Zapier (set it up to catch a hook, leave the child key blank)

  • Copy the URL

  • Set up your GROW workflow to post to that webhook.

  • Add the above URL from the Zapier hook as the destination.

  • Run a test by clicking test in Zapier. This should then trigger a send from GROW.

With every webhook created the standard contact fields will include:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Full Name

  • Phone Number

  • Email

  • Tags

  • Address

  • City

  • State

  • Postal Code

  • Country

  • Timezone

  • Date Created

  • Company Name

  • Website

  • Date of Birth

  • Contact Source

  • Full Address

  • Contact Type

Moreover, depending on your automation trigger in GROW, other additional fields will also be included in the zap.
