Overview
Setting the First Credit Allocation Date to On First Use ensures that a client's credit validity period starts only when they first redeem their package—rather than when it was purchased. This is particularly useful for Intro Offers or any membership that allows flexible start dates.
Prerequisites
- Admin access to Hapana Core
- An existing package or membership listed under Retail Configurations
Step 1 – Log into Core
- Go to core.hapana.com and log in with your admin credentials.
Step 2 – Navigate to Retail Configurations
- Click the Payments tab from the main navigation bar
- Select Retail Configurations
Step 3 – Edit the Desired Package
- Find the package you want to update
- Click the pencil icon to the right of the package to edit
Step 4 – Set First Credit Allocation to “On First Use”
- Scroll down to the Set First Credit Allocation Date section
- Click the toggle to turn it ON
- In the dropdown, select On First Use
Step 5 – Save Changes
- Click Edit Package to save your changes
Tip: This setting is ideal for trial packages or introductory memberships where clients may sign up but begin attending at a later date.
Expected Outcome
The package will now only begin counting credit validity from the first class the client attends, giving them the full benefit of the timeframe purchased.
