Need to schedule a class that won’t cost your clients anything? This guide shows you how to create a free class in Hapana Core—perfect for introductory sessions, promos, or community engagement.
Prerequisites
- You must have access to your Hapana Core Account.
- You need permission to create or edit sessions.
Step 1: Log in to Your Hapana Core Account
- Head to core.hapana.com/login.
- Enter your login details and click Login.
Step 2: Go to the Schedule Page
- In the top navigation bar, click Schedule.
Tip: You'll see your current schedule overview, including class blocks and revenue.
Step 3: Choose the Day and Time for the Class
- From the schedule view, click on the desired day and time slot to start scheduling your free class.
Step 4: Adjust the Date or Time if Needed
- In the Create Session window, use the calendar icon or clock icon to update the class date and time.
Step 5: Select or Create a Session Template
- Click the Session Template dropdown menu.
- Choose a pre-saved class template or start from scratch to create a new one.
Tip: Templates save time for recurring class formats. You can still make changes after selection.
Step 6: Make the Class Free
- In the session setup, make sure the following fields are set:
- Credit Required =
0
- Drop-in Price =
0.00
- Payment Required =
No
- Credit Required =
- Scroll to the bottom and click Next.
Tip: These settings ensure clients won’t be charged or need credits to book this class.
Step 7: Finalize and Create the Session
- Select Clients or Groups to the session (optional).
- Decide if you’ll Send invite email to clients by selecting the checkbox.
- Click Create.
Tip: You can choose to invite clients right away or add them later.
Expected Outcome
Your new free class will appear in the schedule, ready for clients to book with no payment or credits required.

Q: Will clients still need to log in to book a free class?
Yes, clients will still need to log in or sign up, even though there’s no payment involved.
Q: Can I change a paid class to free later?
Yes! Just edit the session and update the Credit Required and Payment Required fields accordingly.

Absolutely. Just click Save as Template during setup so you can reuse it anytime.
